A brand new type of kitchen hood with integrated ozone purification
Is a new professional kitchen hood with an integrated ozone module that contributes to a clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen. The kitchen hood removes dirt and excess heat in the kitchen and separates the grease in the exhaust air. Thanks to the ozone treatment, grease and odours are also reduced in the duct, leading to a considerably lower fire risk and fewer complaints from nearby neighbours.

CGC ”CORONA GLASS CELL”

Is based on Corona Glass Cell where ozone is produced by electrical discharge. CGC for ozone production that has a very long service life and requires little to no maintenance. The CGC technology has been on the market since 1996.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE

The ozone cells inside the ozone generator must be checked and if necessary cleaned at least once a year. Clean the glass electrodes carefully with a soft towel together with an alcohol-based cleaning spirit. Never use any tool or scraper to clean the electrodes. If a separate airfillter is used for the inlet air, make sure that this fillter is changed at least one time per year. The exhaust ducts must be swept clean of grease and soot at the time of installation. This is required to achieve the desired result of the ozone cleaning.

Ozone is a triatomic gas formed by three oxygen molecules. Ozone is very reactive and oxidize efficiently all kinds of organic compounds

Function
The hot air is drawn through the grease filters capturing a majority of the air contaminants. The inlet air passes through the front panel and through the adjustable controls on the lower side of the hood, which permits adjustment of the active zone for the user.
Turbo Grip air control improves the transport of polluted air in the exhaust air to the grease filter. The grease in the air is separated in the filters and collected in a container.
A cleaner exhaust air is achieved through active air treatment with ozone directly after the filters. The ozone purification also keeps the space behind the filters cleaner.
